The Belton Area Museum Association (BAMA) invites the community to celebrate the opening of its summer exhibit, Games People Play, on Sunday, May 17, from 3–5 p.m. at the historic Belton train depot. This free, family-friendly event highlights the joy and nostalgia of games across generations.
The exhibit features an exciting collection of antique and vintage games, including classic board games, arcade and electronic games, collectible cards, and memorbilia. Together, these pieces showcase the many ways people have spent their leisure time—past and present.
Opening day festivities will include hands-on activities for all ages. Guests can enjoy playful culinary creations, try their hand at old-fashioned games, and learn popular card games and board games with guidance from representatives of Empire Games.
