The Blue Ridge Chapter of the Antique and Classic Boat Society will hold its 21st Annual 2014 Annual Boat Festival on April 12th from 10am-4pm at Hartwell Marina.
This year promises to be the best year yet with expanded displays to include the Porsche Clubs of Georgia and the Carolinas, vintage campers, kids activities, Arts and Crafts and lots of great food. Bring the family for a great day of fun.
This year a Cardboard
“Float a Boat Challenge” model boat building project has been added for children up to age 18 from 11:00-1pm. They can bring their boat from home or work on it at the show. There is no cost to enter the challenge and judging will happen at 1:00pm. The best decorated boat that floats in each age category will win a special prize. Rules of the “Float a Boat Challenge” can be requested from the Hart County Chamber of Commerce.Come out to see over 50 beautifully restored antique boats, talk to the owners and many are available for a quick ride on the lake.
Craft vendors will be on hand showing home décor, arts and gifts for the Nautical shopper. Lots of Food vendors will be available with breakfast and lunch items.
Don’t miss the 2014 Lake Hartwell Antique Boat Festival. It is our official start of the season and will be a great day on the water!
