Seeing a smile on a customer’s face is why Bob and Debbie Beckett are in the upholstery business. “What makes me happy,” Bob said, “is when I do a car for somebody and I see their face light up.”
The Becketts own B and D Upholstery on Welpine Road in Pendleton. “We do a little bit of everything,” Bob said. “We do anything including convertible tops, restaurant booth seats, boat interiors, auto interiors, fur-niture, and all your upholstery needs.”
Over 30 years’ experience in the upholstery business allows the Becketts
to advise clients on the best solution for upholstery needs.
“Furniture can be a sticky subject,” Bob said. “A new piece of furniture
may not be as well made as an older piece.” Looking at the structural foun-dation, Bob helps his customers determine the value in recovering a piece
of furniture versus replacing it with something new.
